Thoughts on Prayer

Posted by: podcaster on April 26, 2009

Psalm 145, verse 5 says, “On the glorious splendour of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.”

Philip Yancey, in his book entitled, Prayer, wrote: “The main purpose of prayer is not to make life easier, nor to gain magical powers, but to know God. I need God more than anything I might get from God.”

This message looks at contemplative prayer and the challenge of making time.  Wayne posted several follow-up resources at his blog.
