Who is the miracle in Luke 7:11-17 for? A strange question, perhaps, given that a man who was dead is alive again. And yet, the way Luke tells the story, it seems Jesus’ compassion is focused on the widowed mother. This is a fascinating episode that reveals a lot about how, when, and where God’s glory shows up!
